My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, is looking to recruit a Calibration Engineer to join their Powertrain division on a long-term contract basis.

Rate: Between £29.82 and £54.72 p/h Ltd depending on experience

Role: Calibration Engineer
Powertrain, Calibration, Engineer, Emissions, Automotive, Diesel, Midlands, Warwickshire
Skills Required:
Knowledge of DPF after treatment regeneration calibrations.
Planning and execution of test bed and vehicle tests.
Knowledge of DPF regeneration software control strategies.
Self motivated and driven personality with a focus on delivery.
Working knowledge of powertrain application tools (INCA, CRETA, Concerto, Matlab).
Good communication skills and professionalism.
Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of diesel after treatment and emissions control systems.
Knowledge of current and future emissions legislation.
Experience Required:
Prior experience within the automotive sector or powertrain research environment (OEM, Tier 1 supplier or Consultancy).
Experience Preferred:
Experience of Diesel after treatment systems desirable In-vehicle calibration experience.
Education Required:
Degree qualified preferred (Mechanical Engineering or comparable)
