Description

Next Ventures is urgently looking for a SAP MM LE PP consultant for an exciting project in Brussels.

Background required:

Extensive experience in the SAP MM/LE/PP Module and fluent in the end to end supply chain and manufacturing process; including (but not limited to) Procure to Pay processes:

Inventory Management, Requisitioning, Purchasing, Material Valuation, Material Requirements Planning and Accounts Payable.

Release strategies

Integration with PS

Discrete Manufacturing process

RFID concepts

Integration to third party tools

Variant configuration, batch management concepts

BOM, Routing, Work Centres Management

Material Planning using SAP MRP

In depth knowledge of IDOC processing

Knowledge in costing concepts like Product Costing, Material Ledgers etc.

Experience with cross company code transport orders and global MM integration

Experience with serialization and batch management, Handling Units and large amounts of special stock transactions

Inbound and Outbound Handling unit management is Mandatory

Experience with Shipping, Transportation

Working knowledge of the integration points to all of the other core SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, PS)

Working knowledge of the ABAP Workbench preferred.

Knowledge of the SAP Project Systems

Experience with SAP Data Migration and Interfaces

  • Experience in RICEFW development and interfacing with Developers translate requirements.
  • Experience in working on 2-3 projects at the same time.

Essential Job Functions

  • Gathers SAP MM/LE/PP process redesign requirements; coordinates and participates in development activities and support the testing and implementation of package-based application software (Business).
  • Builds expertise in interface and data conversion requirements, capabilities and limitations, and setup and configuration issues associated with product modules in specialty area(s) (Business).
  • Understands the purpose, roles and activities related to a solution demonstration lab (SDL) and participates in applying this technique to facilitate application design and implementation (Business).
  • Develops working knowledge of the Catalyst approach with respect to package-based development and equivalent vendor methodologies (Methodology).
  • Leads a team of 5-7 resources (company, client and third-party resources), in area of expertise, to conclusion of a project phase (Management).
  • Will act as a one point of contact for solution design in his area of technical expertise (SAP MM/LE/PP) for all projects
  • Maintains conceptual understanding of enterprise software package solutions and related implementation issues from a technical perspective (Technical).
  • Establishes credibility at all levels within the client and builds problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues (Relationship Management).
  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel (Leadership).
  • Collects all the requirements of multiple tasks, Prioritize the tasks and will fulfil the project schedules
  • Communicates in formal presentation settings including proposal orals, client workshops and regional internal events; develops proposal sections, methodology work products and formal written deliverables covering area(s) of expertise (Communication).
