Extremely Heavy Industries is searching for an experienced front-end software developer to help build sophisticated, data-rich web and mobile applications using modern web/Javascript frameworks and data visualization libraries.We create highly polished web apps for private financial clients. We specialize in tools to track and visualize portfolio performance, risk, and trading activity across a wide range of asset classes, countries, and strategies.
This posting includes an extended onsite engagement with one of our clients - a major hedge fund based in Greenwich, CT. This will involve direct collaboration with high-level developers and trading desks to build out an internal UI framework and collection of apps for research and analysis across the firm. Regular (often daily) onsite presence for this project is essential.
Location: Greenwich, CT + ongoing options for NYC/Westchester County/remote.
Job Type: Both salaried and independent contractor arrangements can be considered.
Compensation: Highly competitive, commensurate with experience.
