Description

Our reputable Central Government client is currently hiring for an APEX Developer to join their team in Andover. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Developer to advance and grow their career in an established organisation, with an excellent daily rate.

The Security Clearance needed for this role will be at SC level. If you are cleared - or happy to go through the vetting process - read on!

You will:

*To undertake application design and development work to ensure delivery of a robust Oracle APEX application to meet the needs of the customers, undertaking tasks as directed by the Project Manager.

*To develop and execute unit tests and automated web browser tests.

*Continuous Integration (CI) configuration and build management in the development environment.

*To work closely with other members of the development team, the Product Owner, requirements analysts and testers on an ongoing basis.

*To contribute during sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups and retrospectives and demonstrate software delivered to stakeholders during sprint reviews.

*Tasks will also include production of relevant technical documentation to support the application to the standards specified by the client Software Development Standards and in support of the ITIL Service Design Pack (SDP).

*To contribute, as required, to the production of user stories.

*Provision of ad hoc development support as necessary, to ensure the developed application successfully transitions through system testing for subsequent deployment into the live hosting environment.

*Be proficient in:

oOracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6
oOracle Fusion Middleware (OID, Web Tier, OBIEE)
oOracle Fusion Middleware (OAM, Web Gate)
oMicrosoft Team Foundation Server 2013.
oJetBrains TeamCity 9.x

*Experience using GIT as version control system.
*Experience of working in a military environment and dealing with military personnel.
