I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced OTC Derivatives Operations Analyst to work for a reputable Investment Management organisation based in London.
OTC Derivatives Operations Analyst
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: London
Rate: £350 per day
Principle Accountabilities:
1.The management of issues assigned to or by the functional team and or outsourced partner contacts during a project to transfer OTC derivatives to new platforms.
2.To perform Investment Management Operations activities that have not been outsourced these will cover activities such as:
a.Management of OTC trades from instruction by the client through to method of entry to HSBC systems.
b.Managing and overseeing the Collateral Management function.
3.To assist with derivative related processes to perform support for day to day investment management operations and data management activities eg EMIR reporting
4.Assist with and drive relevant internal and external Change initiatives to ensure implications are known and impacts are
Skills & Experience:
* Communications (influencing, developing, and motivating others. Influences stakeholders and upwards. Interacts internally and externally to organisation )
* Buy-side OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives operations or oversight role Problem Solving - The individual must decide how to achieve goals
* Over four years of relevant Buy-side experience. Past evidence of successful project delivery.
* Degree, a recognised derivatives qualification or professional qualification is desirable
* Derivatives, Oversight, Cash Management, Collateral Management, Fund Accounting, Charles River, Aladdin
* Investment Management - Derivatives use in portfolio management and investment risk
* Worked in derivatives operations
