My client, following a recent period of growth are currently seeking an experienced Software Architect to join their team based in Belgium.

Rate: Entirely negotiable Dependent on experience
Location: Brussels Area, Belgium
Duration: 1 year minimum
The Company
My client specialises in the development of numerous systems used for industries such as Aerospace, Space & Defence. They are involved in products such as satellite space launchers, civil and military aircraft systems as well as defence/munitions systems for various applications.
The Project
This particular project relates to space launchers for 2 major satellites.
Role & Responsibilities
* Your role will involve full life cycle software systems development from concept through to certification and verification stages.
* I am also seeking candidates that can demonstrate experience with Software architecture.
* Although this is a software position, only around 10% of the role will involve "hands on" coding (C, C++). The remainder of the position will involve architecture duties such as Liaising with the customer, documentation (requirements, validation, verification, implementation etc
* I am also seeking candidates that are able to organise projects to timescales and have a familiarity with safety critical systems.
* Due to the nature of the project and the industry it's based in, I am willing to accept candidates from most industries providing you have worked on a safety critical system. Relevant industries include (but are not limited to) Defence, Aerospace, Space, Automotive, Defence, Nuclear, Rail etc.
