JavaScript / Front-End DeveloperJavascript Developer - 3-6 Months - Stoke-On-Trent (JavaScript/Typescript/HTML5/CSS3)
My client has a fantastic contract opportunity for a multiple JavaScript developers to join their organisation.
The client is based in Stoke-On-Trent and is really one of the most cutting - edge and forward thinking places to work.
They are renowned for being the biggest competitor in the betting and gaming industry. This is a fantastic contract opportunity as you will be working on cutting edge and dynamic webpages.
Ideally you will be happy working in an extremely demanding and fast paced environment.
The role will involve a number of projects - converting their desktop site which is currently written in Flash/Actionscript into HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, general BAU (new and existing features) and their mobile site / app.
You will be expected to work within a team of highly qualified developers using the latest push technology, working on live in-play betting systems, sports video streaming and sports content services.
Key Skills Required:
- Javascript - you must be able to code native, vanilla, object orientated Javascript with or without libraries.
- HTML5
- CSS3
Desirable Skills:
- Typescript or something similar
- Any exposure to .NET technologies
- C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET
- Flash
- Actionscript
- Used to working in an Agile environment - TDD / Continuous Integration
Contract Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Contract Length: Initially 3-6 months with a very high possibility of extension
Contract Rate: £300 - £350 per day
