Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. C#/ASP.NET Developer for a contract position in Bolingbrook, IL. The initial project will involve developing a web portal on the .NET Framework. Individual should have extensive Web development experience using C#, ASP.NET,Web Services (RESTful), SQL Server, XML, JavaScript, HTML & CSS. Prior portal/Extranet development is a plus for this position as well. There will be integration between this new web portal and numerous other internal applications, leveraging C# and Web Services. Individual should have hands-on knowledge of all phases of the development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding implementation, etc. Individual will be directly responsible for full life cycle development of web portal. The portal is being built on top of an open source platform called DotNetNuke Evoq CMS. The goal is to leverage open source technology, along with Visual Studio/.NET to make portal/web development faster. Prior experience with DotNetNuke (or similar platform) is a plus, but not required. Individual should also have strong experience with SQL Server 2008 (stored procedures, queries, trigger).
