Orchard CMS experienced .Net Developer role in Liverpool - £35k +Do you have a passion for CMS based technology including Orchard and Web based .Net Development tools?
My client are one of the leading Web Development houses in Liverpool and with a new CMS Orchard project due to take place they are currently looking for a Mid level Developer to join the team on this Greenfield projects.
With regular internal competitions, break out days, prizes and awards to focus on the fun side of coding this company set themselves apart. You can:
- Work on ground breaking .Net Web based Development
- Get your hands on newer tech such as Angular, Bootstrap etc...
- Get to work easily given that my client is based near a number of main train / bus stations / car parks
What would the role entail?
- As an Experienced Developer you will be expected to pick up the Orchard Development and assist in creating a centre of excellence for this technology
- The .Net Developer will report into the Lead .Net Developer and Development manager directly.
- You will be development in MVC5 and web focused technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS, LESS, JavaScript, JQuery, Responsive Web Design and Angular.
- Working on a Full life cycle Development for Greenfield based projects.
- The .Net Developer will be working with a full stack development environment following best practice techniques.
- The .Net Developer will be talking with the Development team and joining in with their culture of open honest advice and mentoring as a team. They all bring new ideas to the table here.
- As it is full stack Development you will have to test and back the quality of your code with best practice
- Lead and contribute to team Scrum / Agile sessions
What skills do you need?
- At least 4 solid years of working with commercial website Development in .Net technologies
- Previous project delivery with Orchard CMS
- Back this up with relevant enterprise scale HTML, CSS, SASS, XML, LESS and JavaScript development experience
- N-Tier Development and Design pattern experience
- Work with Responsive Web based projects
- At least 2 years background of working with Model View Controller / MVC
- Previous experience and project delivery of Web Services and API's
- It's a SQL based database so experience in this area would be beneficial
- The .Net Developer MUST have had experience of working with high traffic environments / web applications
What would be beneficial?
- Experience with JQuery and or Angular would be brilliant but if not don't worry - they will train you!!!
