Core Network Support Engineer (PS)Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Core Network Support Engineer (PS) to join their business in the United Kingdom.
Position Title: Core Network Support Engineer (PS)
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: November 2015
Duration: 6 months rolling

Responsibilities:
- Equipment hardware installation, software installation, stand alone commissioning, including GGSN, PGW, CG, TGW, ePDG, URL, vMSE
- Equipment testing support, including test environment setup, test equipment management and maintenance
- Implementing or supervising project engineering process, including hardware and software supervision, acceptance test
- Implement of site survey and achieving survey report
- Supporting as Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process
- Responsible for 1st and 2nd technical support service to customer or partner
- Onsite support in case of major or critical problems that can't be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA
- Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process
- Follow up issues that may arise during testing/workshop/bidding activities
- Customer communication and workshops
- Bidding support on project engineering and technical service related part
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of experience in telecommunication service area
- Technical knowledge of: Routing, Switching, WCDMA, UMTS, GPRS/ Telecommunication Protocols/Standards (SS7, SIP, MAP, CAP, AAA, Diameter etc)
- Proven ability to diagnose and localize technical problem using logical analysis techniques
- Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors
- UNIX/Solaris system experience is preferred
