6 months contract opportunity
Location: Eastern France – Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region
Start date: May 15, 2016

Main Responsibilities
• Goal: Manage all site activities related to team management, operations follow up, trouble shooting, maintenance, commissioning and start up.
• Project background: System Engineering is related to the execution of Wind Power business. This project is designated as a “program” since it entails several existing and future contracts for the next years with a Customer of Wind business. This program involves Product Development, Engineering studies, Industrial planning and manufacturing ramp up plan, Cost reduction plan with associated sourcing strategy, Contract schedule and Project execution, Site activities and Services.
• First two units are installed and are in warranty phase. Pre series units are under manufacturing and site installation phase.
• System Engineering is in charge of designing, integration of systems composed by key components (converters, rotating machine) built by the customer. This involves various technical topics mainly focused on supporting Services activities: Site operation availability (level 2 support), technical issues resolution (RCA), Commissioning site team support, training development, software test validation prior to site implementation by using a simulator.
• Accordingly, System Engineering leads and manages activities to study specific interactions between key components (converter-machine, transformer -converter, ...)
• Prestation 1: Handle resolution of technical issues faced at site by the system.
Data analysis, definition of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prestation 2: Remote Support of Site operations : commissioning, issue resolution, Site operations
• Prestation 3: Define and execute specific technical studies or development as part of product improvement and change orders.
• Prestation 4: Support definition of technical proposals
Your Profile
• Minimum of 3 years of Engineer Education
• French and English speaking
Main skills Overview
• All drawings, CAD models study and analysis site reports training courses and material.
• All existing procedures, Method statement, Operating and Maintenance Manuals and training materials.
• All training development plan, schedule, training manuals and training materials are «work product».
