CAD Design Engineer

Outline Job Profile:
1.)Design of coax and/or waveguide routings. Training will be given in the use of CATIA V5 wave guide and tubing workbenches etc.
2.)Creation of models and drawings for both details and assemblies.
3.)3D Solid Modelling.
4.)2D Detailing.
Qualifications and/or Skills:
Essential:
*Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - This role would suit a recent graduate as training is given
*Good communication skills at all levels.
*Experience of CATIA V5 (eg in industrial placement, university project etc)
Desirable:
*Knowledge of VPM and PDM system.
*Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Previous Experience:
*Exposure to CATIA V5
Please be aware that in times of peak active this department may move to a shift pattern where alternative weeks are worked 06:00 to 14:000 or 14:00 to 22:00 hrs. No shift pattern is planned currently.
