Your tasks:
- Use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software packages
- Develop detailed computer-based schematics of Lab, Pilot and Production scale equipment (e.g. Reactors) based on available drawings using CAD software
- Model manufacturing equipment and active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing processes using CFD (including evaluating the effect of changing equipment parameters, such as geometry on the process)
- Support project teams in defining the optimal equipment and API process setups based on the output and learnings from CFD models
- Utilise available experimental data to refine the CFD models, including making recommendations for experiments to be performed based on the outcome from the CFD models
Your qualifications
- Basic experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and computer-added design (CAD) programs
- Chemical/process/mechanical engineer, chemist, physicist, material scientist
- Education level: BS/MS or PhD or PostDoc, with or without subsequent professional experience
