Project Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer
GCS are seeking a skilled Process Engineer | Project Engineer | Manufacturing Engineer to join a globally recognized company that turn over £1.5 billion a year they have an expanding team with exciting projects within the packing/corrugated industry.
You will need to be a skilled and experienced engineer within packing/corrugated processes helping with cycle times, cardboard, gluing and improvement processes.
Ideal candidates would have experience in mechanical design, project management, process engineering & have sound knowledge of the packaging industry.
Key skills required:
- Understands the process of packaging (boxes)
- Process Engineering
- Folding | Gluing | making of boxes into bigger boxes | Die Cut Blanks
- Picking up banded groups
- Product input
- Supply fold | Glue & packaging
- Packaging Industry
- Layout and Design
- Worked on types of palletizing equipment utilized
- Analyse the type of robots needed for package solution including weight, location and length.
- Choose the best heads for packaging
