Role - Contract Test Equipment Development Engineer (LabVIEW)
Duration - 6 months
Location - Bucks
Rate - £40 ph
A global company based in Bucks are seeking a Contract Test Equipment Development Engineer to assist with their exclusive defence equipment project for a minimum term of 6 months.
Your main project will be working on an exciting defence aerospace project within the UK V&V Test Equipment team. You will be supporting a Design Team who are world leaders in Aerospace Electronics and Electronic Subsystem Design, to ensure the successful delivery of this project.
Key experience:
LabVIEW Code development - Particular understanding of software upgradability and sustainability for long term projects
LabVIEW Architectural Systems - How interactions within the ATE will match UUT intended target, in particular to testing to meet system requirement
Electronics - Understand & interpret schematics - Wiring schedules - Producing compatible testing capability
V&V - Good understanding of the V&V cycle from the testing of units and validation of test rigs
ATE Documentation - Update and maintain documentation. eg schematics, BOMs, wiring schedules, Texted format Test Scripts. (based on SCPI structure)
This is a 6-month contract
The rate is £40 per hour.
This is an immediate requirement and the company ideally want to secure an engineer within the next week.
