A Project Engineer to support Supplier Quality and Engineering in processing FAIRs for a range of mechanical aerospace components.
Project Based to improve First Article Inspection Requirement. Improve efficiencies and reduce situations of missing information.
Review of CAD geometry subject to FAI (First Article Inspection) to determine design intent for part/assembly.
Review of supplier FAIRs for correctness, completeness and coverage of all features critical to part/assembly design.
Initiate and process updates to design documentation within the change control process.
Establishing design intent for piece parts and assemblies for recent and Legacy products.
Providing advice to Supplier Quality to determine FAIR acceptability based on engineering reasoning.
Implementing drawing changes necessary to increase the robustness of part definitions.
