Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is currently looking for a Senior Building Services Electrical Engineer to join their Glasgow based team for an initial 6 month period.
You will design all services required for a complete electrical installation in different projects. You will also carry out all designs, schedules, specifications and required calculations for power distribution, lighting, fire, security and communication services and you will do all your own drawing work on Microstation CAD or Revit.
Essential Skills:
- HND/degree in electrical engineering and experience in a similar role in either local authority or consultancy background.
- IT skills including use of AutoCAD or Microstation and building services engineering design packages.
- Competencies in Communication, Decision Making, Planning, Motivation, Collaboration and Providing Support.
Desirable Skills:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng)
- Experience in BIM (level 2) and training on appropriate software (Revit or equal)
This is an initial 6 month contract on offer, with likelihood of extensions thereafter. Interviews are available at short notice and start date to follow ASAP after.
