Location: Burgess Hill
Rate: £30-40 outside IR35
Contract Length: 12 Months Initially
Need:
Provide electrical design and documentation support reporting to local team lead to support a remote project team and manufacturing centre. Deliverables include: accurate designs, single line diagrams, schematics and looming diagrams for manufacture, piping and instrumentation diagrams, general assemblies and Bills of materials.
Required Knowledge/Experiance:
* Generate 2D schematics using Autocad Electrical. Proficient in MS Office tools.
* Create wire schedules and cut lists using reports generated from Autocad Electrical.
* Experience is using Autodesk Vault for document version control
* Output clear specifications and bills of materials. SAP experience advantageous.
* Design low voltage control supply, sensors wiring and network wiring.
* Produce drawings of cable assemblies or harnesses, and specify connectors if required.
* Some experience in design for EMC compliance and regulation.
* Some experience in design of thermal management solutions nice to have.
* Some Catia and 3DX experience desirable to interrogate system design and check space claims.
