Huxley Engineering are specialist recruiters in Civil Engineering within the Energy from Waste. Huxley Engineering have an immediate requirement for a Civil Works Manager on a new Energy from Waste plant that is due to be Constructed in London.Tasks that the Works Manager will be expected to cover are-
- Checking/reviewing designs Leading design review meetings between the Client and Contractor.
- Lead weekly construction meetings with the contractor
- Commercial & schedule assessment of work scope variations issued by the Contractor.
- Issuing of instructions for work scope variations
- Health and Safety on site
The ideal candidate will have one of these qualifications however it is not a necessity
- HND Civil Engineering
- HNC Civil Engineering
- BEng Civil Engineering
- MEng Civil Engineering
The contract length is 12 months + depending on the Project hitting key milestones. The Client is wanting to interview as soon as possible for the role. The Candidate has also stated that there could be scope for more work within the London area with the the company if the Candidate wishes to stay on with the company.
