NHS Project Manager - CancerReal Staffing are collaborating with an NHS Trust based in London who are looking for an interim Project Manager to work within their Cancer Department.
The successful candidate will have a mixture of Project Management & Operational experience & a proven background in delivery within pressurised NHS environments.
The role is for a 6 month period paying between £350 - £390 per day & is a brilliant opportunity to enhance an applicant's CV.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Bringing a PMO perspective to the Department
- Working closely with all levels of peers in order to collate information
- Produce packs to be presented to Executives on the performance of the Cancer department
- Make suggestions for change within the department & implement changes once approved
- Ensure constant contact across the Department to ensure smooth running of the service
- Work closely with the Director of Operations on all matters within the service
- Ensure weekly packs & presentations are to an incredibly high standard
Project Manager Requirements:
- NHS Acute Trust experience is essential
- Strategic & Operational mind set
- In depth knowledge of Cancer services & National Cancer targets
- PRINCE 2 qualification will be advantageous
- An extremely hard working individual is required for this post
- Confidence, ability to approach clinicians & colleagues alike to find out information on the service
- Ability to collate & obtain a lot of varying information at any one time
- Immediately available
