Description

Financial Systems Project Manager is sought by a major client is the advertising/media sector. The client is standardising 3 separate operating companies onto a standard ERP platform (JD Edwards) and migrating to a common SSC organisation for finance/accounting. The role is heavily focussed on the process side, and requires a hands on project manager to lead the project to completion. The package of work to deliver includes working closely with all stakeholders to standardise as many processes as possible within the core ERP, as well as driving Change Management, Communications and Training activities to align end users properly with the new processes that exist within the SSC organisation. This broad, hands on role will suit project managers who have exposure to smaller projects and smaller teams, as well as the knowledge of working within medium to large scale companies during parts of their career. As the operation moves into BAU phase, there will be also be a requirement to determine what Financial System support functions are going to needed ongoing, and make the relevant recommendations to put this in place (including cost estimate/ROI).

Applicants require a blend of the following subject matter - SSC transition projects, Finance process change leadership and a background in the deployment of Financial Systems/ERP tools. Relevant systems include JD Edwards, NetSuite, Workday, Lawson, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Dynamics, and Epicor. Some form of Financial/Accounting background will be needed, such as a grasp of month end close processes, A/P, and A/R). Advertising/media agency industry sector experience is strongly preferred.
