Infrastructure Manager / Contract / Banking Central LondonMy client a well respect Insurance firm based in central London is looking for a IT Security Analyst who has experience ideally within the finance arena.
What the role will entail:
Responsible for the provision and technical support of the IT infrastructure and communications systems (both data centre and client based) and IT Procurement tasks. This includes the day to day operations of the IT infrastructure team ensuring appropriate process, policies and improvement plans are in place and that the unit operates in a controlled manner within budget.
What they're looking for:
Proven track record in senior leadership role in IT engineering or operations environment; good awareness of the regulatory environment within IT; experience in planning and executing IT strategy, ideally in the financial services sector; experience in organisation design and process re-engineering; IT enabled business change; experience in developing governance frameworks that are fit to organisational culture; experience managing and leading medium sized teams to deliver to common goals; also facilitation of large groups at all levels.
Desirable:
Relevant qualification(s) in one or more of the following; Microsoft technology, ITIL, Data Centre operations, Virtual Architecture, Service Management, Award and Diploma in Strategic Direction and Leadership.
The role would suit someone who is who has drive, self-confidence, and the
ability to achieve profitable results; someone prepared to meet opposition and resistance to ideas, who will keep pressure on others to meet deadlines in an environment which could have variety and interruption. Other characteristics: self-starting, competitive, imaginative, enthusiastic, self-confident, inspiring, logical, systematic and precise. The ability to communicate with others and work within well defined parameters, whilst at the same time retaining standards and making things happen quickly are integral to the position
