Description
The Senior Tax Analyst will:
- Assist and support impacted stakeholders for new indirect tax registrations
- Design and implement processes which can improve upon existing procedures
- Provide indirect tax advisory services and assist with tax planning requirements
- Prepare and review indirect
- Returns across all jurisdictions ensuring the group is tax compliant
- Recognise ways to alter processes to increase efficiency of routine tasks.
- Assist and support manager in various indirect tax projects.
The knowledge and skills required from the successful candidate are:
- Proven ability to interact independently with external consultants on technical issues
- Demonstrates ability to provide accurate analyses on complex tax specific matters
- Demonstrates technical ability to comprehend tax-related concepts and communicate to other Finance functions
- Collaborates with outside vendors (eg external tax consultants) for data collection and other outstanding issues that do not require judgment
- Proven ability to develop and build on relationships with advisors, corporate and business line finance teams ensuring efficient processes
- Demonstrate ability to assists in routine technical, financial, and organizational activities by researching issues independently
- Proven ability to monitor ongoing tax issues and low changes and how it affects operations of the function Tax
- Highly motivated & comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Educational requirements:
- Strong academic background with professional Tax qualifications
- Accounting qualification desirable
- Industry experience advantageous.
