Role: Project Manager Location: Leicester Rate: £400-£450pdOur client are in need of a contract resource to help with an RFP process and identify a potential partner/solution for the below - expected timelines 3 months.
Currently both Pre-season planning & In-season planning activities within the company are managed either in bespoke Excel templates or by departmental specific standalone applications like AutoCAD, Spaceman etc.,
There is a strategic requirement for one fully integrated end to end retail planning solution to provide operational efficiency and optimal ways of working amongst various business areas. This tool will also allow us to combine all our disparate plannig activities within one planning suite.
An end to end retail planning suite is expected to contain the following business modules: Merchandise Financial Planning, Range Planning, Assortment planning, Channel planning, Macro Space Planning, Promotion/price planning, Allocation planning, Product lifecycle planning, Demand forecasting, Replenishment planning.
Also the selected solution will have the following characteristics: Process driven rather than Analytics driven, fairly Intuitive and adaptable to the business, end to end planning capability within one solution and a SaaS (Software as a Service) Model
The ideal candidate must: - Have extensive Project Management experience in a Retail environment - Have RFP process experience - Have experience working with vendors and suppliers. - Have proven experience with planning suites.
