Electronic Design Engineer - LVD, EMC, ORCAD
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join our busy Hardware Engineering team. You will be responsible for electrical/electronic engineering to fulfil customer or development requirements through design, component specification, prototype, testing and full documentation stages.
Successful candidate will have strong experience in LVD, EMC and will have used ORCAD.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electronic engineering tasks including design, testing, documentation and review
- Preparing systems and engineering specifications to obtain quotations from subcontractors and materials suppliers
- Providing technical assistance to all areas of the business on specific issues relating to electronic engineering
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience working in an Electronic Design and Manufacturing role
- EMC and LVD Experience essential
- Schematic capture using ORCAD or similar
- Analogue and digital design experience
- Preparation of design and test specifications
- Experience with RS232, USB and Ethernet interfaces
- Experience with RFID
- MIET, CEng
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Computing
