Structures Calculations - Support Engineer
A Structures Calculations Services Engineer with Support Engineer experience is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Lancashire
As well as development within the SHM Team there is the opportunity to grow into other Structures roles.
This is a 12 month contract working for a Leading Defence company
Overview of the Structures Calculations contract role
The role will involve the assessment of in-service Avionic flight data to confirm that Structures data integrity is guaranteed and that aircraft operation and fatigue monitoring is being recorded within acceptable tolerances. To achieve this role it will be necessary to be able to analyse data, solve problems, and communicate with Production and Squadron personnel on a regular basis.
Key skills required for the Structures Calculations
- engineering/mathematics degree or a HND
- GOOD - Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Project Skills
- ESSENTIAL - Communication and Team Working Skills
The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds
