A Safety Support Engineer Services Engineer with Avionics is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Preston
This is a 12 month contract for a UK leading defence company.
Overview of the Safety Support Engineer contract role
A challenging new opportunity has arisen for a Support Safety Engineer within the aviation Integrated Solution Design Team based at Warton. Reporting to the Support Safety Team Leader, the successful applicant will help support the achievement of affordable, sustainable, integrated and safe support solutions for the customers of our clients project, which will meet their through life support requirements
Key skills required for the Safety Support Engineer
- Support Systems Safety Engineering Personal Qualifications Degree in Engineering Subject or Equivalent - Level 3
- Strong working knowledge in an Avionic industry
Strong working knowledge in the following:-
- Project Support Safety Management Plans
- Project Support Safety Justification Reports (SJR)
- Project Support Safety Hazard Logs
- Management and support of projects' Support Safety Working Groups (SWG)
The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
