We are currently looking for an Automotive Design Engineer with experience in interior trim or seating who is a proficient user of Solidworks. The role as Design Engineer will be on an initial 6 month basis with early indications of a further 6 month extension. The role is commutable from Doncaster, Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Leeds, Bradford.The rate of pay is very competitive in line with the current market and based on current experience.

As a major supplier to the automotive market, Huxley Engineering work with some of the leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and major OEM's to prove innovative recruitment solutions.
Due to major growth within my clients business they are looking to recruit an experienced CATIA V5 Design Engineer to join their design team working on designated projects.
Skills/Responsibilities required for this role, not all are necessary but most would be beneficial:
- Automotive Experience
- Car Seat Design
- Direct work with OEM and Tier 1 would be an advantage
- Bespoke Interior Trim
- Strong Networking Skills
- Solidworks
- Worked on Floors / Pillars / Seating / Boot linings
- Ideally have New Product Launch experience and seeing a project through from Cradle to grave.
