Job Description:
*Based in our UK facility in, Hertfordshire.
*Produce concept layout, design, detail designs of all types of gauges/machines (from fully automatic machines down to Hand held attribute gauges) incorporating Intra and customer required engineering standards and specifications.
*Understand customer component drawings and manufacturing process sheets, mainly for engine or transmission products.
*Ability to apply fine limit and geometric tolerances to designs, in a cost effective manner.
*Knowledge of gauging, quality methods and manufacturing processes.
*Ideally have experience of working within the Gauging and/or Machine Tool/Automotive Industry.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a formalised training background in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. Knowledge of pneumatic circuits would be beneficial.
