For our client we seek a talent SAP PS Project Manager to join their project from February just south of Brussels, Belgium.
Role
The SAP PS and CATS Functional Consultant will be involved in the implementation and roll-out of the SAP PS and CATS template in the various companies of the customer.
The successful 'SAP PS and CATS Functional Consultant' will work closely with our business partners, in order to analyse the business requirements and optimize/simplify the business processes. They will needs good technical/functional knowledge to develop a reliable and performant solution, meeting business requirements at an affordable cost.
The SAP PS & CATS Consultant must develop and deploy the SAP solutions through all phases, including analysis, customizing, testing, implementation, and user training, as well as providing technical and functional expertise in the area of SAP PS and CATS.
Main responsibilities;
- Manage the client interactions (R&D project excellence core team, R&D business teams, steering committee)
- Improve the governance processes (projects prioritization, team mobilization, scoping, blueprint, design, test, go-live & support, hosting services).
- Manage the external consultants in the IT team (#4-5 FTE),
- Oversee the IT projects being delivered (#5-8) including preparation of and participation in project steering committees,
- Help rebuild the internal team (2-3 open positions),
- Oversee the Planisware development services (Planisware Paris ) and hosting services (Customer corporate (US) and Wipro services),
- To take managerial, self-directed actions in any of these areas after appropriate alignment with the head of IT for R&D
Skill/Experience needed:
Good understanding of and clear vision re R&D project management processes
Proven business consulting skills like process mapping, requirements & business rules analysis
Good understanding of IT delivery methodologies and CSV documentation standards
Team player
Able to lead team of 1 internal (max) and 4-5 externals
Ability to keep things simple and avoiding overly complex rules, processes, solutions
Pharmaceutical industry experience (advantageous)
Former experience working in a Pharma R&D project organization (advantageous)
Language(s): English is a must, with at least good French skills needed.
