Mechanical Design Engineer
A Design engineer with experience in aerospace and Unigraphics is required to join our client in Birmingham on a 6month contract.
Rate: approximately £35-£36ph

A world leader in the design and development of engine controls systems and components for the aerospace industry.
Overview
Using the latest NX software you will be involved in the concept design of components for a range of projects including the development of a fuel nozzle.
Other projects that you may be involved in include the Design of pumps, Hydro-mechanical units, actuators, designing and detail designing mostly mechanical components for Engine control systems you will be using NX/UG/Siemens into teamcenter.
The Candidate
Experience with a Siemens Unigraphics/NX/UG package is essential and the latest software is preferred as at this client they are using the newest versions.
Previous experience designing and modelling (2D and 3D)
An understanding and appreciation for the working of an Aero-Engine and the properties of the materials involved
