Openstack Design Engineer
Responsibilities - Design, deploy and support Openstack private cloud solutions 
- Be the expert reference for customers in Proof of Concepts opportunities 
- Drive to improve automation for deployment, management, tooling and visibility within other members in the engineering team
- The OpenStack Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining software, tools and services to support our OpenStack private cloud offering and to advance the development of our Infrastructure. 
- Evaluate & execute new components for cloud technologies and facilitate transition from POC to Production environments 
- Provide visibility, traceability, accountability & metrics
Requirements - Expert in cloud computing, including security, usage scenarios, and infrastructure basics with an emphasis on OpenStack (compute, storage, network, authentication) 
- Prior experience in Open Stack (Nova, Cinder, Neutron, Glance & Keystone) is mandatory.
- Demonstrable knowledge of continuous development & continuous integration process and framework for keeping cloud up to date with latest patches, security fixes & releases OpenStack (IaaS) & Linux 
- Experience setting up and managing an OpenStack cloud enterprise solution in a production environment as well as having a solid background with other virtual and cloud environments 
- Experience with configuring, troubleshooting and testing networking hardware architectures 
- Advanced Linux Administration and debugging skills. 
- Capable of designing physical to cloud infrastructure migrations between clouds (Private and Public) 
- Solid understanding virtualization technologies (VMware, RHEV, KVM, HyperV) 
- Strong Scripting skills in Python/Shell/Perl.
