One of our customers is looking for a Microsoft AX Functional Analysts to join a dynamic team of professionals on a permanent bases near the West Yorkshire region, in the UK.The Microsoft AX Functional Analysts role is to understand and interpret business requirements in order to determine how best to implement them using Dynamics AX.
Effectively designing and articulating system requirements in an appropriate format to allow consistent, quality development to take place.
Close liaison with the business analyst, product management and development teams is essential to the success of the role and effective working relationships are consistently maintained in this area.
Playing a major role in the development lifecycle of the solution, this role ensures that effective functional specifications are created and agreed, a solution design is approved within the overall firm's business strategy, and that effective development, testing and rollout of the functionality is carried out.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
Essential
- Extensive practical experience of delivery of integrated ERP solutions.
- Experience of core modules in Dynamics AX 2012
- Educated to University degree standard or equivalent experience in finance
- Demonstrable experience in software design ideally with certifications in appropriate methodologies.
- Solid grounding in ERP development primarily using Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Extensive experience in developing strategic functional architectures working in conjunction with other architects, development managers & development staff.
- Experience of collaborating with off-shore development teams.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle systems design and development including production of appropriate functional specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
- Excellent communication skills is important.
- Good Finance knowledge.
- Good HR knowledge.
Good experience in BI would be desirable.
