Description
My Client are urgently seeking a contract Compliance engineer to deal and liaise with the Certitfication bodies. You will need to be strong in various different standards such as IEC, UL and other governing bodies.
This is a 6 months rolling contract and they will require a person onsite at least 4 days per week.
Duties
Dealing with various different electronic products, both analouge and digital
Experience of speaking with Certification bodies (UL)
Hands on experience of writing safety reports and making sure all products are compliant and to IEC 61508 standards
Strong awareness of LVD/EMC power electronics on a product level
In design reviews, being able to question designs to ensure they are failsafe and fault tolerent.
Skills
TUV Qaualified or similar
EMC/LVD electronics product experience
Experience of using UL and dealing with different bodies within IEC 61508
ATEX level skilled
