  • The Social Media Manager will play a key role in communicating the mission of NRSNG to all of our social media followers by providing them with relevant, usable, and educational content.

    This is a 10 hour a week part-time job with the ability to increase. (Salary $15,000 - $17,500).

  • Oversee and execute social media strategies, guidelines, best practices, promotional campaigns across all platforms and communities (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, Reddit, Snapchat, Periscope)
  • Respond to nursing related emails.
  • Respond to comments on social media.
  • Record YouTube videos.
  • Post daily stories and content across all outlets.
  • Strategically plan social media campaigns and communicate weekly/monthly goals.
  • Remain on top of latest trends/articles/news within the nursing community.
  • Stay relevant to latest trends and growing platforms.
  • Manage all pages, posts by others, read member check-ins, alert customer service for questions
  • Track and communicate results, with a weekly report of analytics, growth of community, interaction and findings.
  • Aim for high interaction and virality of posts.
  • Know the NRSNG mission by heart and communicate that in every post.


  • Requirements:
    MUST be an RN or RN student with exceptional educational history.A successful candidate will be motivated, artistic, passionate, driven and creative.Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environmentIn-depth knowledge, understanding and experience with Social Media Platforms Must be flexible and have the ability to take direction wellExperience with marketingExperience with online monitoring and measurement platforms including Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, HootSuite, Buffer, and Omniture.Experience leading Facebook campaignsBasic knowledge of graphic designSelf-driven with excellent verbal and written communication skillsLeadership skills, sense of urgency, creative, energetic and enthusiasticAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environmentExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
