Sales and Presales ConsultantSales and Presales Consultant required for leading Investment Management Software Company based in the City of London.

This financial software company is a global provider of Investment Management technology systems, providing client reporting solutions to the buy side community. Clients include numerous world leading Investment Management firms as well as smaller boutique firms. They have also won a number of German clients who will be the focus of this role, therefore a good level of German will be required.
Team:
This Sales and Presales engineering role sits with the wider EMEA Sales Team and is responsible for sales opportunities in the EMEA by presenting solutions to potential clients.
Job:
Sales and Presales Engineer with some knowledge in either Client Reporting, Investment Accounting or Performance and Attribution, and preferably with previous experience of working within Sales and Presales for an Investment Management software provider.
Responsibilities:
The Sales and Presales Consultant is responsible for the sale of Client Reporting software and services demonstrating solutions to prospective buyers or demoing new functionality to existing customers.
Acting as the client reporting expert.
Deliver sales pitches to potential clients.
Responsible for the design, research, information gathering and delivery of RFIs and RFPs.
Responsible for loading prospect and sample data.
Preparing and delivering proof of concept requirements.
Co-ordinate actions with other sales staff.
Responsible for configuration of the solutions for the purpose of demonstrating solutions to prospects and existing clients.
Required experience:
Proven knowledge of Investment Management software, such as Client Reporting, Portfolio Management, Investment Accounting or Performance and Attribution software within the Investment industry.
Previous experience demoing either financial software both formally and informally.
Good level of spoken German.
Understanding of the challenges around Data Management in the Investment industry.

Technical knowledge would advantageous, ideally having started out configuring and implementing software solutions
Vast experience of delivering sales pitches, sales demos, and support
Effectively communicates risks, issues, and status of sales processes.
Communicates effectively including writing RFPs, Presentations scripts, status reports, etc.
Ability to set and manage expectations, manage difficult situations and build positive working relationships
