Description
Summary- The EDI Analyst will work integrally with COE and Business Technology (BT) organization to design, build, implement and sustain EDI systems and solutions to support the global Animal Health business.
- This role will be the Subject Matter Expert in Electronic Data Interchange.
- The Senior Associate will work closely with our business counterparts to support and maintain the global template in this area, and work in conjunction with our EDI Lead and Managed Service Providers to establish standards and guidelines for a streamlined service and support model
- The Senior Associate will be part of the SAP COE but for the duration of the SAP ERP deployment, will be a member of the global project implementation team.
- Act as internal consultant and design architect for SAP EDI global solution. Work with peers in the BT organization and business representatives to determine business process and solution design leveraging the capabilities of EDI.
- Support the identification of opportunities to standardize EDI processes and system configuration globally and ensure compliance across all implementation to these standards
- Collaborate with representatives of other SAP functions to ensure end to end process integration and consistency
- Develop, prototype, test and implement EDI solution improvements to increase stability, usability and functionality to enable end users to meet business objectives
- After the implementation, lead and support EDI project initiatives to expand the usage of EDI solution to improve processes at manufacturing sites, commercial operations and across the supply network
- The Senior Associate conducts all activities and makes decisions along with the EDI Lead that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Values, FDA & global regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environmental guidelines, as appropriate, etc.
