Job Title: Education Cost AccountantOrganisation: NHS Acute Trust

Real Staffing are working on behalf of a large NHS Acute Hospital which requires an interim Cost Accountant to support the submission of their Education and Training expenditure.
Candidate should have a strong background within Education reference Costing with recent assignments at Acute Hospital Trusts. This role is part of a new government scheme where candidates will be expected to work with a flexible approach.
Key Duties:
- Act as the trust's Financial Lead on the Education and Training Reference Cost Collection return
- Design questionnaires to collect income and expenditure activity
- Created financial templates that will generate collected data and cost the training programmes (both salaried and non-salaried)
- Populate the financial return to be submitted to the DoH
- Liaised with budget holders and departments to gather information
- Review data to ensure that it has been collected and costed accurately
- Service Line Management and reporting of the trust's Education and Training financial information
- Support the annual Reference Cost submissions
Key Skills Required:
- Qualified Accountant (preferable)
- Supported delivery of NHS Reference Cost submissions
- Operated within an NHS Acute Hospital Trust
- Background within NHS income and costing
- Strong system and analytical skills
