Procurement Analyst
My global consumer goods client in the North West requires a Procurement Analyst to join on a 6 months contract.
Experience Required:
*A background in analysis and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
*Experience of procurement processes from supplier selection to contract award
*Experience of working with Procurement tools.
*Excellent customer service and organisational skills, thrives on seeing tasks through to completion.
Responsibilities:
*Procurement Strategies
*Reporting and tracking of savings/cash targets through defined methodologies
*Support of Implementation of the global strategic sourcing processes across various countries and implementing necessary catalogues
*Support implementation and manage sourcing best practices
*Engage in sourcing initiatives supporting supplier selection
*Vendor management
*Identification and initial assessments of suppliers for assigned portfolio and geographies.
*Prepare and manage supplier selection process for assigned spend and site clusters using available tools and standardised templates (RFI's, RFQ's)
*Maintain frequent contact with suppliers, to review/resolve day-to-day issues and to develop current insights into suppliers' business conditions.
*Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.
*Address/escalate supplier non-performance as appropriate.
