CAD Draughtsman - 6 Month Contract - East Midlands
Amoria Bond are currently looking for an experienced CAD Draftsman for a major automotive company based in the East Midlands for a 6 month contract.
The company is a global automotive supplier with a significant presence within the industry and the successful candidate will be part of a new product introduction team.
The day to day responsibilities of the role will be:
*Supporting, designing and drafting of the components that are currently being developed throughout the programme
*Interacting with other teams in India and China via teleconference, passing on thee work for the global roll out of design changes, helping them understand the design.
*Outline to the other teams what is required for the component to be manufactured and explain to them what has been designed.
I am looking for someone with the following experience:
*Extensive drafting experience
*Rotating electrical machinery experience
*ProEngineer/Creo Design Experience
*Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
*Product engineering experience
*Experience of project management and responsibilities
*New Product Introduction
*Chinese speaking would be desirable but not essential
*Alternator experience
*Of particular interest would be industry knowledge in: Automotive/Yellow Goods/Off-highway/Renewable sectors
*Or also specific experience of projects or components such as: Rotating Components/Engine design/Fuel systems/Air handling systems/CAB design/Forgings & Castings.
