Description
Our client in Center City Philadelphia is looking for a Network Engineer for a 3-6+ month contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position. Our client will also consider candidates working remotely as well. They will deliver timely and competent service to the customer, manage a queue of tickets. Follow change process for all network access and changes, and support teammates within their team, and on other teams, including Engineering, Technical Operations Center, Change & Implementation, Service Management, and Project Management Requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Five years industry experience in a design and engineering role in a large enterprise or service provider environment with a focus on IP Networking
- Extensive working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPSec.
- Extensive working knowledge of spanning tree and layer two switching
- Working knowledge of F5 load balancers, Cisco ASA and Juniper ISG and SRX Firewall
- Extensive working knowledge of Cisco IOS and NX-OS and a working knowledge of Juniper JunOS
- One or more of CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or Firewall certifications
- Extensive knowledge of IP, Frame Relay, and Ethernet data communication concepts and technologies
