Mozilla, the non-profit behind Firefox, is looking for a Social Media Campaign Manager to contract with the social team. We're looking for a creative thinker and problem solver with at least one year of professional experience in social media. If you've loved all the weird, beautiful parts of the Internet for much longer than that, even better.

The Campaign Manager will execute on our monthly social content calendar, help drive our Social Accelerator experiments, work closely with our Support and Communications teams to monitor for issues and potential crises, and work with a global team of volunteer contributors to engage with our fans and followers across the globe.

What you'll do:

  • Manage social media campaigns, working with internal teams to get assets for social, coordinate hashtags and conduct influencer outreach
  • Upload, track and organize our social media assets across owned social platforms for Firefox and Mozilla
  • Work with our support team to coordinate community management practices with volunteer contributors in 9 languages, including proactive ideas around audience engagement and reactive responses/comment moderation
  • Approve contributor responses and enable/empower them
  • Engage with influencers through Mozilla and Firefox social brand channels and support key campaigns
  • Work closely with our Support team (SUMO) to get users the solutions they need in a timely manner via social
  • Be on tap to promote or boost real-time content around brand opportunities
  • Report on content performance insights to help inform our ongoing and campaign content strategies
  • Work with our Head of Paid Media to oversee delivery of always on paid social media with our media agency
  • Support internal teams with social paid message testing in social channels as required

What you have:

  • 1-2 years professional experience in social media marketing
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Great communication skills so you can work across geographies, time-zones and languages
  • Passion for collaboration and interest in leading volunteers
  • Experience in tech a plus, experience working on a mission-driven brand a plus
