Senior Linux Systems Administrator
Prestigious Fortune 500 Company is currently seeking a Senior Linux Administrator for a 4 month contract. Candidate is responsible for the design, implementation and support of server infrastructure. Candidate must have large enterprise environment experience working with hundreds of Servers. Any Unix, Storage or large file system experience is a plus.
Salary: OPEN Hourly
Experience and Qualifications:
5+ year Linux Systems Administration experience in a large enterprise size environment.
Provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
Limited supervision. No instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments.
Guides the successful completion of major programs that impact cross-functional teams within their department.
Provides technical leadership for Systems on cross-functional incident resolution teams.
Broader knowledge of Systems technologies and industry trends with subject matter specialization in one or more theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific practices.
Able to successfully contribute in cross-functional teams containing non-technical peers.
Broader knowledge of Systems technologies and industry trends with subject matter specialization in one or more Systems technologies.
