Job Purpose:

The principle purpose for the role is to lead the AMPD comms for the 'Delivery Workstream' on behalf of both the AMPD central Change Lead and overall Delivery Workstream Lead, Key accountable for liaising with the 'Delivery Worsktream' and associated business representatives to grow understanding and knowledge of the delivery workstream in doing so ensure/deliver a robust comms and engagement approach to aid the management of the change into the business.

Experience Required:

  • Experience of Change Management, understanding the impact of change on people and how the approach to communications and engagement can influence this
  • Substantial experience of developing communications to deliver multiple messages across a diverse organisational structure
  • Experience of developing strategies to support business objectives
  • Experience of working within a structure programme as part of a large organisation, recognizing the importance of Governance and alignment of message across the wider business

Key Tasks:

  • Experience of Change Management, understanding the impact of change on people and how the approach to communications and engagement can influence this
  • Substantial experience of developing communications to deliver multiple messages across a diverse organisational structure
  • Manage the delivery of Delivery workstream' communications to time and production deadlines, with the appropriate tone, language, content and house-style eg programme newsletter, lines to take, Q&As etc.
  • Drive pace and professionalism across a series of proactive campaign's aligning approach with clear needs of the business areas
  • Work closely with the AMPD central Communications team to feed into BAU communications and activities as per their detailed plan
  • Ensure the communications governance process is adhered to, to ensure all relevant stakeholders have approved AMPD content before it is distributed
  • Own and maintain delivery focused communications plan
  • Work collaboratively with communications colleagues in Strategy and Portfolio workstreams and TISMP and Data teams to deliver "joined-up" programme messages
  • Seek out innovation opportunities, with ease of message and delivery at the heart eg pod-casts, webinars etc
  • Measure the effectiveness of AMPD communications and engagement activities and recommend interventions where necessary.

Qualifications required:

  • Educated to degree level or professional qualification in communications
