Description
SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Our client is looking for a senior system engineer to join their team on a short contract basis in Dublin city centre. The successful candidate will be engaging in infrastructure design, architecture, network planning and senior technical systems administration tasks.
You will be reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, and also be expected to be able to provide 3rd level support and resolve complex issues across all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
Essential Qualifications:
The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications:

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or
-
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
-
5+ years' experience
The successful applicant must have hands on delivery technology skills in the following:
- Design and support Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012
- Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012
- Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2012
- Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012
- Installation, configuration and support of Microsoft Exchange 2013
- Installation, configuration and support of Windows Server 2012
- Administration of Web Hosting with IIS 6/7/8
- Scripting skills - VBS, Batch Files, PowerShell
- Administration of Windows 7
- Sound working knowledge of Networking services, hardware and technologies (DNS, WINS,
- DHCP, Patching, Switching, WANs)
- Solid experience with a wide variety of hardware (Servers, PCs, Printers, etc )
- The successful applicant should have experience of some of the following:
- Design and support of Microsoft System Centre 2012 R2 Private Cloud Technologies
- Installation, configuration and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2013
- Installation, configuration and support of Microsoft Lync 2013 including voice
- Installation, configuration and support of Windows SQL including Always-On High Availability
- Administration of Windows 2012 Hyper-V
- Administration of Microsoft DirectAccess
- Cisco Intrusion Prevention System/SourceFire
- HP routing and switching
