JOB TITLE: Mechanical Design Engineer
- I'm in search of a contractor to assist with a project involving creating ProE drawings and releasing them into our Agile PDM system.
- I don't require a Mechanical Engineer, but someone with ProE experience.
Job description as follows:
The job will include:
- Creating drawings with ProE
- Reviewing, marking up, and verifying that supplier drawing and specifications meet our standards.
- Releasing the drawings into our Agile PDM using ER/MR/ECR processes.
- Verifying samples meet the drawings
- Coordinating with technical writing team and standards engineer to ensure User Manuals and Labeling are ready for release
- Maintain a tracker to keep current status of ~40 individual drawings from creation to release.
Experience and qualifications:
- ProE Experience
- Prefer Agile PDM experience
- Very detail oriented
- Very good communication and people skills
- Previous GE and/or medical device experience a plus
