Description
Experienced Infrastructure Construction Project Manager with Defence/MOD experience required for new green field Defence project. You will lead the development which is currently at the design phase, to define requirements, working closely with the Project Architect. The Construction will require large airside hangars and associated facilities. You will be responsible for project oversight, contractor relations, budgeting, organisation, implementation scheduling of the projects and reporting. Previous Project Management in the arena of 'Top Secret' facilities would be advantageous.
Essential Experience:
- You will have a degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A recognised Project Management certificate qualification
- Demonstrable track record managing complex construction projects - management of airside projects and working with Ministry of Defence would be a benefit
- Security Cleared (preferred) or the ability to obtain Security Clearance
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
The initial phase is expected to last 12 months and will be based in Bristol, however, there will be travel to other locations including the new site (which will be in Scotland). Immediate Interviews, 12 Months + (the construction phase is expected to take 2 years). Ideally you will possess current Security Clearance or the ability to be cleared.
