Description
Compliance Manager required to join our Financial Services Client for an initial 6 month contract based in Chester.
This role will provide support to the Senior Manager, Compliance team and be responsible for a wide range of critical regulatory compliance activities, including providing expert support and advice to business areas to ensure they remain compliant with the wider organisational policy and regulatory compliance requirements.
To be considered for this role applicants should have the following skills:
* A working knowledge of Regulatory Banking Compliance (ESSENTIAL).
* Experience in a Compliance Management role
* Detailed knowledge of key relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements, technical interpretation and the ability to provide advice thereon.
* Ability to use compliance knowledge to define and formulate business strategy
* Stakeholder Management
* Microsoft experience: Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, Visio
* Uses comprehensive data, management information and experience to provide effective analysis - challenging existing approaches and using experience to deliver practical, innovative solutions.
An understanding of regulatory requirements in respect of consumer hire lending and experience of Consumer Credit Sourcebook rules would be highly beneficial.
