Description

Credit Risk Specialist required by by client a global consultancy who are working with a banking organisation based in Dublin. This is an initial 6 month contract paying up to £650 per day.
Shapes, leads and drives the vision, definition, and implementation of the end to end solutions on major projects in the Credit Risk Management domain. Manages client relationships up to a senior level, has responsibility for management of external vendors/suppliers, and engages with internal senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

Provides direction and thought leadership in Credit Risk Management, further develops the knowledge and capabilities within the Banking & Diversified Financials team, and enhances service and solution client propositions in this key area.

Role Requirements
*Excellent functional or consultancy experience within the credit industry with strong focus on Credit Risk Management
*Graduate in a discipline including significant statistical, accounting, financial or mathematical elements
*In-depth knowledge of the banking and financial services industry, ideally with experience across Retail/Business Banking/Corporate Banking
*Excellent knowledge of risk management across the whole of the customer life cycle (eg origination, customer management, collections, fraud)
*Excellent business knowledge with understanding of how to drive business value from data, analytic, and technological solutions
*A collaborative approach - works effectively within and across teams and pro-actively shares knowledge and experience
*Leadership skills with proven ability to build, motivate, direct, and manage teams
*Innovative and dynamic with an entrepreneurial mindset
*Flexible and adaptable with strong problem-solving ability
*Demonstrated ability to organise findings in a clear and consistent format
*Ideally international experience
* Very strong and credible communicator, with ability to articulate highly complex technical information in clear, concise terms.
*Ability to communicate and engage effectively at senior management/executive level.
*Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
*Excellent PC skills, especially in Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
