Description

KPMG are recruiting for a Finance Business Services Senior Manager to provide senior technical accounting and reporting capability and finance leadership supporting the delivery of FBS aspects of the Sabadell Migration.

This role will involve considerable travel to Barcelona.

Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Technical design,
  • Accounting masterdata
  • Chart of accounts
  • NPA fating and exit
  • Finrecs solution for migration assurance Senior finance professional with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capability.Significant project experience including full understanding of project governance and life cycles and a demonstrated ability to deliver of finance and accounting change.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Deep understanding of accounting systems and processes in a banking environment together with the financial control aspects of system and data migration.

Includes but is not limited to:

  • Review of technical designs for:
    • Accounting;
    • Internal Accounts;
    • BDU
    • providing feedback and comments and supporting Senior Management through to signoff
  • Support the development of the FBS post migration TOM
  • Support Senior Management through C150 signoff meetings
  • Provide support to other key FBS workstreams including CoA creation and accounting masterdata set up (including Cost Centre hierarchy)
  • Working with other stakeholders, support and where appropriate, reconcile internal accounts for migration.
  • Support and where required, lead the FBS input into TSA exit programmes arising from the Migration including Cash and NPAs
  • Develop and deliver a Finrecs approach for Migration including defining required systems solutions and finance processes to deliver an assured and reconciled migration event.
  • Support changes to existing BAU processes as a result of migration working closely with BAU teams to ensure ownership, responsibility and processes in FBS are fully understood and Embedded on migration
